Report Midweek 28th April 2008
Tuesday night saw Newbold Jubilee beat Caterpillar FC in the Chairman’s Shield Final at the Dovecote.  After a goalless first half and looking like going into extra time in the second half and with only four minutes left it was Darren Simms who was the hero as he struck the only goal of the game the take the Shield back to Newbold.  On Wednesday night in the RBF Fibreglass Limited Division Four ATI Garryson Reserves secured runners up spot with a 4-2 win at home to Caterpillar Reserves, Ben Robinson, Matt Platts, Craig Ball and Adam Smith for Garryson, Josh Brown and Lee Syrett for the Cat.  Thursday night saw the final of the Tom Onions Memorial Trophy at Nanpantan between The Railway EWM and Measham Imperial.  Measham took the lead after six minutes when Alex Dutton struck his first goal of the season with a twenty-five yarder and it remained that way until the second half. Jamie Storer equalised for The Railway EWM and Dean Fantom with his first of the season with the winner to take the trophy back to Ellistown.

Report 3rd May 2008
Sileby Saints retained the Automedia Printers Cobbin Trophy for the third successive year.  The holders beat Falcons FC from division two 1-0.  After a goalless first half the Saints top scorer Joe Hetterley hit the only goal of the game to take the trophy back to Sileby.
