With Caterpillar FC on County Cup duty Genesis FC took the chance of closing the gap at the top of the Terex Pegson Premier Division with a 3-2 win at home to Markfield FC with goals from Steve Straker, Chris Ford and Iain Robertson, Ezra Knight and Chris Brown for Markfield. A goal each from Simon Harbin and Michael Smith gave Asfordby Village a 2-0 win at home to Anstey Town. Loughborough Town beat neighbours Loughborough FC 5-4, Sean Beale (2), Chris Biddles, Andy Hand and Jamie Pestell for the Town, Steve Shapcott (2), Ben Walton and Daz Barrett hitting the Luffs goal. Falcons FC drew 2-2 with Whitwick Wanderers, Matt Tait and Sam Kibble for the Falcons, Jamie Holms and Scott Cordy for the Wanderers.
Deportivo de la Zouch missed the chance to regain top slot in the Shedland.co.uk Division after ATI Garryson held them to a 3-3 draw, Shaun McEwan with two penalties and Ash Walton adding the third for Deportivo, Joe Kendrick (2) and Danny Burton for Garryson. Loughborough Athletic beat Loughborough FC Reserves 5-0, former Luffs players Richard Keeling (3) and Luke Briers (2) with the goals. East Leake Athletic drew 3-3 with Kegworth Imperial, Liam Woodford (2) and Nick Dyer for the Athletic, Chris Berry, Jamie Moseley and Ewan North for the Imps.
Hex Holdings Limited Division Two The Railway EWM lost 4-2 at home to Bagworth Colliery, Ben Cotton, Stewart white, Matt Platts and Max Carroll for Bagworth, Jamie Storer and Dean Fantom for The Railway. Moira United won 3-1 at home to Markfield FC Reserves, James Brind, Danny Morris and Jason Stamp for Moira, Mark Woolley for Markfield. East Leake Athletic Reserves beat woodhouse Imperial Reserves 3-1, Alex Pritchett (2) and Rob Hedworth for the Athletic, Rennie Etheridge for Woodhouse. Loughborough United won 3-2 at home to Thurmaston Rangers, Ian Lord (2) and Josh Mason for Loughborough, James Gilmour hitting both for the Rangers.
In the Windmill Trophies Division Three Goals from Lee Baillie (3), Will Grummett, Dan Stephens, Luke Hardwick, Peter Stanbridge and Steve Adams gave Thringstone MW an 8-2 win at Long Clawson, Matt Church hitting both the Clawson goals. Whitwick Wanderers Reserves beat ATI Garryson Reserves 10-1, Brett Meers (4), Paul Collier (3), Tom Smalley, Will McNeice and Tim Axton for Whitwick, Andy Thompson for Garryson. Belgrave FC ‘A’ won 5-3 at home to Mountsorrel FC, Scott Taylor (2), Ashley Cockeram (2) and Jason Russell for Belgrave, Dean Duncan (2) and Josh Herrod for Mountsorrel.
Loughborough Galaxy got their first win of the season in the RBF Fibreglass Limited Division Four with a 3-2 win at home to Loughborough United Reserves, Ben Reynolds (2) and Colin Laurie for the Galaxy, Brothers Ashley and Any Heffer for United. Sutton Bonington Reserves won 6-2 at Greenhill YC Reserves, Gordon Fuller (3), Adam Zurawliw, Chris Rossington and Andy Bell for Sutton, Tom Hudson and Lewis Costellow for Greenhill. Four goals from Nigel Wilman gave Genesis FC Reserves a 4-12 win at Anstey Town Reserves, Chris Beasley hitting both the Anstey goals. A brace each from Carl, Edge and Rob Tarry gave Coalville Labour Club a 4-1 win at Castle Donington Reserves, Johnny Bevan for Donno.

In the Saturday Trophy Thringstone Rangers beat Measham Imperial 2-1, Brian Rafferty and Nick Dunster for the Rangers, Adam Hoult for the Imps. Ingles Reserves won 4-1 at Ferrari, Danny Brown (2), Matt Smith and Ricky Stephnou for the Ingles, Mark Woolley for Ferrari. Greenhill YC won 4-1 at home to Barlestone St. Giles ‘A’, James Armstrong, Josh Hardy, Tim Morris and Jack Boobyer with the Greenhill goals. Terex Pegson Premier Division leaders Caterpillar FC were trailing 3-2 at half time at home to Anstey Town but came back to win 7-3 after Anstey had a player sent off, Nick Moore (4), Chris Foster, Liam Walsh and Adam Willett for the Cat, Lee McNairn (2) and Beto Semedo for the Town. Ingles won 4-2 at Loughborough FC, Garry Brooks (2), Ricky Stephnou and Greg Fletcher for the Ingles, Alan Barrett and Barry Gale for the Luffs. Asfordby Village won 4-1 at home to Sileby Saints, Wayne Harris (2), Paul Huckerby and Craig Dawson for the Village, Tom Doherty for the Saints. Loughborough Town made it back-to-back wins with a 5-0 win at Sutton Bonington, Sean Beale, Chris Biddles, Steve Preston, Daniel Jarvis and Liam Johnson with the goals. Markfield FC won 4-2 at home to Woodhouse Imperial, Oscar Dodds (3) and Herbert Mawazda for Markfield, Neal Halliday and Mitch Keightley for Woodhouse. Falcons FC won 5-2 at Shepshed Amateurs, Ashley Harper (2), Danny Bowes, Adam Locker and Daniel Parkin for the Falcons, Raoul Dhaya for the Amateurs. Deportivo moved back to the top of the Shedland.co.uk Division One even though they drew 2-2 at Kegworth Imperial after Anstey Crown lost 4-2 at home to Birstall Old Boys, Andy Daybell (2), Ashley Byrne and Daniel Blake for Birstall, James Peploe and Tyrone smith for the Crown. Chris Berry struck twice for Kegworth, Paul Foster and James Hobby for Deportivo. Belton Villa won 3-1 at East Leake Athletic, Lee Harrison, Tim Brown and an own goal for Belton, Stu Brown for the Athletic. Steve Farrow hit the only goal of the game as ATI Garryson beat Loughborough FC Reserves 1-0. Loughborough Athletic also won 1-0 at Sutton Bonington Academicals, Nathan Loveridge with the Loughborough goal.

Bagworth Colliery won 8-2 at home to Loughborough United, Max Carroll (3), Matt Platts (2), Dale Wills, Dan Varnham and Dean Hall for Bagworth, Andy Gunn and Mark Lakin for United. Thringstone Rangers won 2-1 at home to East Leake Athletic Reserves, Sean Mead and Luke Muskin for the Rangers, Mark Smith for East Leake. Thurmaston Rangers got their first win of the season away at Woodhouse Imperial Reserves wining 5-1, Jason Gilmour (3), Josh Callis and Martyn Shaw for Thurmaston, Sam Lucas replying for the Imps.

Caterpillar Reserves won 4-1 at Loughborough Emmanuel, Danny Carroll (2), Richard Hagger and Ronnie Magney for Caterpillar, James Vandepeer for Emmanuel. The only game to beat the weather was in the RBF Fibreglass Ltd Division Four where Greenhill YC Reserves were beating Coalville Labour Club 2-1 but had to concede to the bad conditions in the 65th minute when the referee abandoned the game. |
