Powerscreen Premier Division leaders were held to a 1-1 draw at Asfordby Village, Wayne Harris for Asfordby, and Nick Moore for Caterpillar. Anstey Town won 3-1 at home to Sutton Bonington, Ryan Brightmore, Phil Pearce and Lee McNairn for the Town, Carl Bucknall for Sutton. Falcons won 3-0 at home to Loughborough Town, Ross Locker, Ashley Harper and an own goal for the Falcons goals. Genesis FC beat Woodhouse Imperial 5-1, Ryan Patman (2), Chris Ford, Jason Staples and an own goal for Genesis, Luke Green for Woodhouse. Shepshed Amateurs beat Sileby Saints 4-0, Rob Blenkinsopp, Chris James, Daz Slater and Carl Brooks on target for the Amateurs. Darren Slater and Kyen Chapman grabbed a goal each as they won 2-0 at Ingles, while a Chris Brown goal gave Markfield FC a 1-0 win at home to Whitwick Wanderers.
Belton Villa moved up into second spot in the Shedland.co.uk Division One with a 2-1 win at home to Sileby Victoria, Andy Cooper and Joe Hawkins for the Villa, Nick Booth for Sileby. Anstey Crown dropped vital points in their title challenge in a 2-2 draw at Kegworth Imperial, James Peploe and Tyrone Smith for Anstey, Jamie Carter and Martin Murphy for Kegworth. Goals from Alex Pritchett (3), Shaun Wright (3), Wesley Woodford and Matt Hall gave East Leake Athletic an 8-2 win at Loughborough FC Reserves, Leigh Starbuck with both the goals for the Luffs. Deportivo de la Zouch won 3-0 at home to Loughborough Athletic, Ash Walton (2) and Shaun McEwan with the goals. A goal apiece from Matt Anderson and Matt Harding gave Sutton Bonington Academicals a 2-0 win at home to ATI Garryson.
Hex Holdings Limited Division Two leaders The Railway EWM beat second placed Ingles Reserves 2-1, Tom Towersey hitting both for The Railway, Matt Smith for the Ingles. Moira United beat Thurmaston Rangers 5-2, Chris Moon (2), James Brind, Matt Ebsworth and Darren Tyres for Moira, James Gilmour and Ryan Mitchison for the Rangers. Joe Byrne hit all four goals for East Leake Athletic Reserves as they beat Loughborough United 4-2, Shane Hardy and an own goal for United. Thringstone Rangers won 2-1 at Castle Donington, Shaun Mead and Andrew Preston for the Rangers, Steve Miller for Donno. Markfield FC Reserves won 3-0 at Woodhouse Imperial Reserves, Aiden Bates, Alex Cook and Connor Saunders with the Markfield goals.
In the top of the stable clash in the Windmill Trophies Division Three Thringstone MW ran out 4-0 winners at Caterpillar FC Reserves, Lee Baillie, Steve Adams, Luke Hardwick and Liam Buckley with the Miners goals. Greenhill YC won 4-0 at Mountsorrel FC, James Armstrong (2), Josh Hardy and Karl Harratt with the Greenhill goals. Whitwick Wanderers Reserves won 6-0 at home to Loughborough Emmanuel, Will McNeice (2), Paul Collier, Melvyn Burton, Adam Knowles and Tim Axton with the Whitwick goals. Long Clawson beat Ferrari FC 5-1, Matt Church (2), Alex Fairbrother (2) and Shaun Hibbert for Clawson, Matt Griffin for Ferrari. Measham Imperial took the points in a nine-goal thriller at Sileby Saints Reserves as they won 5-4 thanks to a last minute clearance off the line by centre half Chris Rushbrooke who had scored twice to go with goals from Ross Tebbett, Steve Dexter and Tony Brown for the Imps, Matt Simms (2), Johnny Graham and Andy Glover for the Saints.
RBF Fibreglass Limited Division Four leaders lost their first league game of the season going down 5-3 at second placed Sileby Victoria Reserves, Gary Smith (4) and Josh Ferguson for Sileby, Nathan Kew-Moss (2) and Jack Fletcher for Markfield. Coalville Labour Club won 6-4 at Sutton Bonington Reserves, Dave Leigh and Islam Ibrahim both hitting a hat trick each for Coalville, Zack Jackson (3) and Rob Clark with his first goal of the season for Sutton. Birstall Old Boys Reserves won 4-1 at home to Castle Donington Reserves, Ash Price, Tim Clare, Liam Kotecha and an own goal for Birstall, Grant Redfearn for Donno. Shepshed Amateurs Reserves won 3-1 at Anstey Crown Reserves, Mick Tuck, Sam Cook and Anthony Harding for the Amateurs, Simon Moore for Anstey. Greenhill YC Reserves lost 8-2 at home to Loughborough United Reserves, Andrew Heffer (3), Ben Smith (2), Paul Smith, Ashley Heffer and Josh Smith for United, Michael Waugh grabbing both for Greenhill. Loughborough Galaxy played out a goalless draw at home to neighbours Genesis FC Reserves.

The Powerscreen Premier Divisions top two faced each other today and Caterpillar FC came away 3-2 winners at Anstey Town to open up a seven point lead over Anstey, Nick Moore, Matt Durham and John Curry for Caterpillar, Ryan Brightmore and Mark Brown for Anstey. Third placed Falcons won 2-0 away at Whitwick Wanderers, Ross Locker and Danny Moss with a goal each for the Falcons. Genesis FC beat Sileby Saints for the first time in eight years 2-0, Stave Straker and Jose Jimenez on target for Genesis. Markfield FC won 3-0 at Loughborough FC, Chris Brown, Neilan Morton and an own goal for Markfield. Loughborough Town won 2-1 away at Shepshed Amateurs, Andrew Hand and Toby Webb for the Town, Darren Slater for the Amateurs. Lee Spridgen (2), Wayne Harris and Michael Smith all scored to give Asfordby Village a 4-0 win at Ingles FC. Woodhouse Imperial won 3-0 at Sutton Bonington, Rob Quick, John Taylor and Craig Tebbs with the Woodhouse goals.

Max Carroll hit a double hat trick at Woodhouse Imperial Reserves as Bagworth Colliery won 9-2, Matt Platts, Ben Cotton and Dale Wills making up the nine, Tim Pole and Stu Brookes for Woodhouse. East Leake Athletic Reserves lost 4-0 at home to Thringstone Rangers, Shaun Mead (3) and Ian Jardine with the goals. Thurmaston Rangers beat Ingles Reserves 3-1, Alex Hinds (2) and James Gilmour for Thurmaston, Simon Justice for the Ingles. Loughborough United won 6-3 at home to Loughborough FC ‘A’, Shane Hardy (2), will Hack (2), Chris Cooling and John Walker for United, Darren Lawson, Matt Lanes and Thomas McRoberts for the Luffs.

Genesis FC won 4-2 at Sutton Bonington, Chris Ford (2), Steve Straker and Ryan Patman for Genesis, Martin Anderson with both for Sutton. Markfield FC won 4-0 at home to Sileby Saints, Ezra Knight with a hat trick, Herbert Mawazda adding the fourth. Loughborough FC beat Woodhouse Imperial 4-3, Byron Rennocks, Ashley Wignall, Daz Barrett and Sam Vernon for the Luffs, for John Taylor, Rob Quick and Luke Green the Imps. Ingles and Loughborough Town drew 1-1, Jake Jaggers for the Ingles, and Sean Beale for the Town.

Second placed Falcons FC closed the gap to six points with a 6-0 at Woodhouse Imperial, Danny Moss (2), Danny Bowes, Danny Parkin, Jack Richardson and Matt Tait with the Falcons goals. Genesis FC climbed above Anstey Town after beating them 3-1, Chris Ford (2) and Ryan Patman for Genesis, Beto Semedo for the Town. Goals from Neilan Morton (2), Ezra Knight, Herbert Mawazda and Tyler Lee-Breedon gave Markfield FC a 5-1 win at home to Asfordby Village, Lee Spridgen for Asfordby. Ingles won 4-1 at Whitwick Wanderers, Adam Smith (2), Sam Smith and Ben Pollard for the Ingles, Jamie Holms for Whitwick. A Toby Webb strike gave Loughborough Town a 1-0 win at Sileby Saints, while goals from Byron Rennocks and Steve Shapcott gave Loughborough FC a 2-0 win at home to Sutton Bonington.

Markfield FC ‘A’ still top the RBF Fibreglass Limited Division Four on goal difference after beating Loughborough Galaxy 3-1, Peter Hibbert, Ryan Turner and Lee Smart with the Markfield goals, Darren Jones for Galaxy. There were thirteen goals in the game at Quorn Rawlins between Sileby Victoria Reserves and Loughborough United Reserves, which Sileby won 8-5, Nick Cox (4), Gary Smith (2), Oliver Pervin and Josh Ferguson for Sileby, Josh Smith (2), Ben Smith, Chris Cooling and Tom Flowers for United. Genesis FC Reserves won 8-2 at home to Castle Donington Reserves, Jason Staples (2), Matt Treed (2), John Stanbridge, Nigel Wilman, Andy Parker and Miles Kime for Genesis, Neil Wilkinson and Tony Stevenson for Donno. Coalville Labour Club won 2-1 at Greenhill YC Reserves, Johnny Stevenson and Alex Finch for Coalville, Brett Bishop for Greenhill. Sutton Bonington Reserves beat Birstall Old boys Reserves 2-1, Zack Jackson and Luke Woolley for Sutton, Mark Jacques for Birstall.
This years Bonser Trophy Final will be between Ingles FC Reserves and Markfield FC Reserves, Ingles won 3-2 against Whitwick Wanderers Reserves, Matt Smith, Ricky Stephnou and Craig Roberts for the Ingles, Will McNeice and Martin Straw for Whitwick. Markfield FC Reserves booked their place with a 4-2 win against Belgrave FC ‘A’, Connor Saunders (2), Neil James and Aiden Bates for Markfield, Scott Taylor and Jason Russell for Belgrave. |
